SUMMARY
We believe that it is God's will to heal the sick. "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick" (Matt. 8:16).
The apostles healed all who came to them. "There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one" (Acts 5:16).
All through the centuries, since the time of the apostles, there have been individuals who had faith in God for the healing of their bodies. And where New Testament faith is found, New Testament miracles will be wrought in the name of Jesus Christ.
We believe that, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and for ever" (Heb. 13:8) applies to divine healing; that Jesus healed while here on earth, and commissioned his disciples to heal the sick.
In this lesson we have dealt with divine healing; healing as a result of faith. We believe that God uses doctors and nurses to restore a person's health, and that there also is a natural process that is a result of divine healing.
